Job Description
Our client a top financial institution is currently seeking Front-end Web Developer to support their technology team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop user-friendly website interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with designers and back end developers to integrate designs and functionality
• Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and optimized for speed and scalability
• Conduct website testing and debugging for cross-platform compatibility
• Gather requirements and provide project timelines to stakeholders
• Stay updated with front end development trends and propose innovative ideas
• Optimize website performance through code and image optimization
• Ensure website accessibility and compliance with web standards
• Collaborate with SEO specialists for on-page optimization
• Develop and integrate REST APIs for data exchange and integration
• Contribute to the development of web applications using modern web frameworks
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT application development system;
• Experience in REST API, Web application development and DevOps toolset;
• Experience in Windows, Unix and related shell scripts;
• Knowledgeable in VB.NET, MS SQL and Progress OpenEdge is a plus;
• Good knowledge in System Development Life Cycle Methodology
• Native Cantonese speaker is preferred
