Job Description
Our client a top financial institution is currently seeking IT Programme/Project Manager to support their technology team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the project team and manage project resources, budget, and timeline.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment and delivery of project objectives.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans to minimize project impacts.
Provide regular project status updates and reporting to project stakeholders, including senior management.
Ensure compliance with project management methodology and standards and enforce project governance and controls.
Manage project scope and change requests and ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on software development projects, more experience can be considered for a senior role.
Experience in managing HKMA and HKPF on Card related or FX and Payment value stream projects
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum, and experience in applying them in real-world projects
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies and competing priorities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
PMP, or other project management certifications are a plus.
