Our client a top financial institution is currently seeking Senior IT Risk and Governance Manager in their technology team.

Job Description
• Leading IT governance structure design and implementation. Support Chief Information Officer for IT strategy design and rollout.
• Delivering various IT governance and risk papers for CIO to all kinds of bank level governance meetings, like Board, RMM, IT Manco, etc.
• Ensuring IT has a robust and compliant Risk Control capability across all IT areas in accordance with Group standards pertaining to IT risk by providing leadership, coordination, and expertise.
• Supporting Chief Information Officer to manage external and internal auditor & regulator relationship. This role is also responsible for IT risk compliance with Group standards and regulatory and Group Audit requirements in respect of IT risk control; and ensuring that controls are operating effectively through coordination of and collaboration with regional, country and impacted outsourced control monitoring teams.

Qualifications
• Degree in technology-related field or business administration is required.
• Strategic thinking in IT strategy, IT governance and IT general management with business alignment.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT or Financial industry with expertise knowledge in application development, project management, IT operation and quality controls.
• Demonstrable expert knowledge in operational risk management, internal control, or internal audit preferably within a banking operations and IT Function.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to a wide range of individuals and groups and at different levels of seniority. Excellent written English and presentation material is high preferred.
• Self-starter and effective collaborator.
• Innovative and able to assess needs and propose solutions.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to influence without direct management authority.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
