Principal Responsibilities:

• Participate in IT DevOps team with responsibility for infrastructure architecture design, advices and support implementation
• Responsible for managing the design of IT infrastructure for new business initiatives, technology refresh and adoption of new technology for the firm.
• Collaborate with enterprise engineers, developers, and project managers to deliver suitable infrastructure solution which can cope with the business need and growth
• Research and evaluate products in support of the technical strategy. Study, design and implement new infrastructure technology according to the standard and governance and help to develop the technical competence of other teammates with the new technology
• Ensure systems comply with the Group’s infrastructure and security policies and standards
• Identify any issues that may arise due to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures and timely escalate major project risks and issues to management
• Provide professional consultancy and support in response to architectural queries from developers and business.


• 5-10 Year experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance preferably in Banking industry
• A bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, or Information Technology related discipline
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the key infrastructure products such as Oracle, SQL, Linux, Windows, IBM WebSphere Liberty, WebSphere, IHS, Portal, MQ etc
• Knowledge and hands on experience with external cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure is highly preferred
• Good track record in working on the delivery of complex projects preferably under DevOps and Agile model in matrix structured organization
• Open minded, willing to learn, explore and implement new and emerging technologies
• Sound communication, presentation and influencing skills to work with business, IT colleagues, and external; Strong analytic skills to understand and resolve complex problems
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
• Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
• Good command of written and spoken English & Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
