Job Description
Our client a top financial institution is currently seeking Senior Infrastructure Specialist to support their Fintech team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform development, testing, installation and implementation of system in virtualized Linux, Docker, Windows VM in ESXi Platform (on premises & Cloud)
• Maintain and continue improving VMware VM machine
• Manage datacenter IT infrastructure, including but unlimited to new project setup, infrastructure revamp and relocation, etc.
• Maintain monitoring and alerting tools, and ensure system uptime meets the requirement of internal SLA
• Maintain and continue improving application storage, ensure storage reliability and backup strategy
• Maintain proper administration records of IT equipment inventory, software licenses, IT equipment movement & other IT related information
• Provide consultative, proactive and/or reactive support for IT Infrastructure Services not only to users but also to project team

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
• Over 5 years’ hands-on experience in VMWare ESXi, Linux, Windows Server, Storage and Backup in large scale network
• Familiar with VMware products, e.g vSphere, VSAN
• Experience on premise environment
• Experience on managing share drive, e.g Synology with NFS
• Experience on backup of VM / Virtual Disk / Share drive
• Experience on using cloud providers, e.g. AWS / GCP is an advantage
• Comfortable with Linux command-line environments, familiar with GIT operations
• Solid experience in using Docker, K8S experience is an advantage
• Familiar with monitoring tools
• Knowledge of the following software and technologies will be an advantage: Nginx
• Good analytical and problems solving skills with strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Infrastructure Specialist
