Our client a top financial institution is currently seeking Support Engineer – EOL to support their infrastructure team:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Being the SME to manage technology refresh or upgrades to Software and Hardware that are about to become End-of-Life or End-of-Support
• Develop the technology refresh strategy with respective IT teams
• Produce regular status reports of technology refresh
• Manage the software and hardware inventories and life cycle
• Manage the license proof record
• Enforce the governance and compliance model
• Assists procurement and asset management
• Conduct regular license and EOL compliance check
• Provide support during non-office hour whenever needed
• Assists and executes assigned tasks in projects to ensure company projects meet the agreed schedule
• Contribute to operational efficiency by transforming manual operation into IaC automation

Minimum job requirements:

Education & Experience
• Degree in IT or related discipline with 5-7 years of related experience in software and hardware life cycle management

Specific Skills
• IT inventory management
• IT vendor management
• Effective problems solving ability
• Work independent and self-starter is highly appreciated
