Hubert Tam – Managing Partner

Prior to establishing SIRIUS Partners in late 2009, Hubert worked for two leading executive recruitment firms in Hong Kong– Hudson Global Resources and Huthart & Company, focusing on FICC, Equity, Derivatives, DCM/ECM and various Funds. Previously Hubert worked for JP Morgan and Galaxy Asset Management, collectively gaining 3 years of solid experience in Treasury, Capital Markets and Risk. Hubert has worked and lived in Hong Kong since 2002 and is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Hubert holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph, Toronto.

Colin Sanders – Managing Director

Colin joined SIRIUS Partners in early 2010 and brings to the company over twenty years of experience in senior management positions, predominantly as a Finance Director/CFO in a diversified range of industries. Not only has he worked in Europe and the USA, Colin has an in-depth knowledge of Asia Pacific, having worked in China, India, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Australia and Hong Kong. Colin has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1997 and holds an ACA, Chartered Accountant of England & Wales and a BA Hons Law Degree, Essex University.

Jens E. Soderlund – Senior Advisor

Jens joined SIRIUS Partners in 2010, to share responsibility for the Hong Kong office. Previously Jens spent 11 years with Huthart & Company [1998 – 2009], a leading executive recruitment firm based in Hong Kong, as Managing Director and later as Partner. His industry focus spanned Capital Markets, Equity, Treasury, Derivatives, Structured Products, Funds including but not limited to Private Equity, Special Situations/Distressed Debt, DCM/ECM and Corporate & Investment Banking. Prior to his executive search career, Jens gained 18 years of solid Banking experience within the financial sectors of Europe, United States and Asia, working for Chase Manhattan Bank, BG Bank and Den Danske Bank. He held senior positions across portfolio management, distressed debt, capital markets, treasury and commercial banking. Jens has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1997 and is fluent in English and Danish. Jens holds a BSc, Copenhagen School of Economics & Danish Banking School, Copenhagen.

Karl Laegaard – International Advisor & Managing Director

Karl has a strong international finance background with profound experience gained through various management positions held as CEO, CFO, Board of Director and as headhunter, respectively. His areas of expertise are within the field of Capital, Interim Management and Professional Search. Karl is fluent in Danish, English & German and holds a CA & BSc from Copenhagen Business School and a shipping management school certificate from A.P. Moeller – Maersk A/S, Maersk Line, Denmark.
